Check out the bear below coming out of hibernation. He’s looking old and stiff AF, but that’s not stopping him from moving forward - ready to shed, feed and give it another go. So goes the cycle of life.
Maybe, like me, you can relate with feeling like this bear dude. I’m emerging from this latest (dark) cycle of life, AKA Winter from a bit of a sleep, induced by the I lost count battles with sicknesses my kid brought home, followed by too much sitting and not enough movement. Like any cycle, there’s a valley we must navigate through on the uphill to the (light) Spring….
My valley included feeling heavy, stiff like our bear friend and just plain tired – simply as a result of too much output and not enough input, downtime and/or pause.
My uphill began as an internal conversation, initially questioning damn! “where did the last few months go?!”, followed by slapping myself out of it, acknowledging, and self-correcting to my favorite parts in the entrepreneurial journey – idea creation, throwing those ideas on the wall, doing the math, and seeing what sticks as I move, again steadily to the top of this latest peak. I’m hungry, focused on feeding, and shedding what does not serve me, so that I can make room for the possibilities that I know will be soon blossoming.
I’m excited for the Spring, aren’t you?!
This month’s newsletter has some resources to help move you through hibernation to a better Spring, whatever that looks like for you, (in addition to timely reminders on Tax deadlines and what can be done at this juncture).
We are here for you, always in all ways.
